Day1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Kasbah Amridel - Boumaln Dades
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, prepare for an exciting journey from Marrakesh to Boumalne Dades. Start your expedition by heading east towards the High Atlas Mountains to cross the challenging Tizi n’ Tichka Pass (2,260 meters). Travel to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (built in the 17th century), a UNESCO-designated World Heritage site. Upon reaching the next destination, the city of Ouarzazate, famous for its role in cinema and as the gateway to the desert, continue towards the lush palm oases in Skoura, where the ancient Kasbah of Amridil (built in the 17th century) showcases Moroccan heritage and architectural grandeur. Proceed to Kelaat M’Gouna, also called the “Valley of Roses,” to witness the enchanting scent of rose cultivation and the artistry of rose water production in local cooperatives—finally, head to your ultimate stop, Boumalne Dades. Take in the rugged beauty of the Dades Valley, where towering rock formations offer a breathtaking panoramic view. Your path will take you through the High Atlas Mountains to Tinghir, where you will stop at the Todgha Valley to discover the captivating Todgha Gorge, one of the largest rocky valleys. You will then travel to Erfoud, acknowledged as Morocco’s largest open-air paleontology museum, to explore the area’s rich paleontological past. Finally, you will arrive in Merzouga, where you will take part in the desert experience with Camel rides, magnificent sunset vistas from the dunes, overnight stays in authentic desert camps, and delicious dinners accompanied by local music. Day4: Merzouga desert - Ziz Valley - Cedar forest - Ifrane - Fes
