Program of 10 days tour from Fes: ​
Day1: Fes - Ifrane - Atlas Mountains - Ziz Valley - Merzouga desert
After breakfast, the driver will meet you and head south through the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Your tour begins with a stop in the city of Ifrane. The quiet and beautiful city has an architectural character similar to Swiss architecture, giving it the title of the Switzerland of Morocco. To take pictures of the stone statue of the Atlas lion. Then, drive through the cedar forests spread along the Middle Atlas Mountains, considered the macaque monkeys’ primary and original habitat. You can stop and take pictures with the monkeys if you are lucky enough to come across them. After that, continue south through the High Atlas Mountains to reach the vast Ziz Valley, considered one of the largest palm oases in the region. Finally, during the evening, get to the Erg Chebbi dunes, where a unique experience awaits you. Experience camel riding and head deep into the dunes for sunset and overnight in a desert camp, where a delicious dinner and an evening of local music await you under a starry sky.
Day2: Explore Merzouga desert by 4x4 Car
After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey to discover the Merzouga area. Our first stop will be the Hassilabiad Oasis. Next, we’ll traverse the historic Dakar Rally tracks to visit the nomadic community and gain insight into their way of life. We’ll then proceed to the Khamlia village to experience the unique traditional music known as Gnawa music. After the tour, you’ll have some free time to partake in one of the most renowned activities in the area – exploring the heart of the dunes by Quads or ATV (optional). To conclude, we’ll return to the Riad. Overnight in Riad.
Day3: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Erfoud - Todgha Gorges - Dades Valley
First of all, try not to miss the opportunity to watch the magical sunrise. After breakfast, we begin your journey by heading west through semi-desert terrain and passing through the city of Erfoud, considered the capital of fossils. We arrive at the town of Tinerhir to visit and walk in the Todgha Gorges, which is regarded as one of the most beautiful rocky valleys in Morocco. Afterward, you will reach the picturesque Dades Valley, winding through the High Atlas Mountains overnight in Riad.
Day4: Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After breakfast, a qualified and highly experienced guide will await you. He will lead you on an exploratory walking tour through the crowded alleys of Marrakesh to explore and learn about the city’s ancient history, which dates back to the 11th century. After two and a half hours of driving, you will reach Essaouira (the capital of the winds), a city famous for its stunning coastal beauty. Upon arrival, you can head to the hotel for a short rest. Day7: Essaouira - Casablanca - Rabat
After breakfast, resume your journey by heading towards the economic capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, considered the largest city in Morocco in terms of population and area. To stop and visit the most significant religious landmark in the Kingdom, the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, the third in Africa, and the thirteenth in the world. It can accommodate more than 125,000 people. Then, head towards Rabat, the administrative capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, where a mix of authenticity and modernity awaits you. Day8: Rabat - Chefchaouine
In the morning, you will continue your travels to explore the significant historical sites of Rabat that you missed yesterday. Afterward, you will journey towards Chefchaouen, passing through expansive agricultural areas and the lush Rif Mountains. By afternoon, you will reach Chefchaouen, also known as the blue Pearl, with charming streets adorned with white and blue hues.
Day9: Excursion to Akchour Waterfall
After breakfast, you will embark on a trip to the fantastic Akchour Waterfalls, a series of picturesque waterfalls surrounded by lush greenery, providing stunning views and natural beauty. Along the way, you’ll encounter rugged mountains and winding trails and pass through various rural villages, providing a glimpse into Morocco’s rural culture and traditions. Enjoy the valley’s beauty and a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants. During the afternoon, return to Chefchaouen to wander its famous blue streets, visit the Kasbah Museum to learn about the city’s history and culture, and explore the bustling Medina. Day10: Chefchaouine - Volubilis - Fes
After Breakfast, your trip heads to the southern regions of Morocco, passing through the Rif Mountains and vast agricultural areas. You will visit the historical monuments of the Volubilis site. This site was the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Mauritania, established in the 3rd century BC. The Roman Empire developed it into an important outpost and adorned it with splendid buildings and monuments. It subsequently served as the capital of Idris I, the founder of the Idrisid state, for a brief period. In the afternoon, you will travel to the ancient city of Fez, which dates back 1235 years. There, you will have the opportunity to explore various historical landmarks.
